Pump sound at start and stop

    My 06 4L as this wierd sound of pump at start and stop wonder if that happened to any of y’all, i was thinking air pump but appenrently 06 dont have one, any ideas? Thanks

    It could be the Evap Pump for the fuel system.
    It pumps fuel vapor to the intake to be burned.
    I only ever hear mine after shutting the truck off.
    Usually 30 mins or so after I turn it off.
    Sometimes loner or shorter, I depends.
    Can’t say I have ever heard it on Start Up.

    Yea well its clearly under the hood, but doesnt seem to affect anything, i will let time pass a bit see where that goes
