Hey everyone, been a long time lurker thought it was about time I made a account and post.

Got this 2001 Tacoma Prerunner back in October of 2017:

I really wanted a 1st gen doublecab Tacoma at the time, but in retrospect I wish I waited to find a 4x4. Anyhow I found a guy selling this one at a reasonable price, was in good condition and had regular oil changes, previous owner just drove it to school. But of course halfway home the check engine light comes on, and it ends up being a o2 sensor. I still haven't fixed that issue as it doesn't effect performance and is a bit pricey.

After doing a lot of reading on the forum and elsewhere plus some help from member "04Pre_Runner" I converted my car to 4wd along with a number of other mods I will post on my build thread.

This is what my truck looks like right now:

I first got into modifying my car after some off-road trips, primarily Cleghorn OHV trail. I pushed my 2wd truck to the limit there here is some footage from the trail:

(sorry all I have is dash cam footage, but this trail was a mistake with no way out but thru)

(This was during a snow storm, I had only 2wd chains and rear lockers, but I could hardly keep traction, we turn around pretty quickly)

Now I'm just in it for overlanding and trying to build the best camping rig I can
