Would you do the same if you were swapping to the pro fox suspension. Currently have the Tacoma sport suspension considering to switching to the pro suspension which I believe to be maybe a 2 in lift

Sorry if this has been posted already, but wondering if anyone here has detailed pics and steps on how to remove the headliner (in the rear) to access the shark fin tab and 3rd brake light?

Had to sell my 17 Tacoma for a tow rig in order to pull my new home. Still here for a bit to keep in touch.
This works. The signal is reflected off the back of your scull and extends the working range.

Hey guys, do you know if anyone has ever tried to remove the cordless charger pad built into the truck? and replace it with something useful?

This is the button, the pad is under my hat in this picture.

Got any tips on hard-wiring and mounting the button for a novelty horn?

I use mine quite a bit. Heat can be an issue, but that has more to do with lack of ventilation. Not bad for topping off the phone on the way to work though.:notsure:

Can you roll the windows up without starting the entire truck if you have push start? I tried to roll it up by just pushing the push start once.

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
Push start twice without having your foot on the brake. That puts it in Ignition mode. Also, you have a minute or so after turning truck off to roll up/down provided you don't open a door.

Just tried it again and it works, thank you. I guess I was just hitting it once before. I never had push start before.

yeah it took a few times to realize that you push the start button twice to get it into accessory for closing the windows but the dinging is annoying lol.

Does hitting "start" again get you out of ignition mode?

Single press of the start button put it in accessory mode, the second press with no brake puts it in ignition mode. The third press turns the truck off. You get about a minute to roll up or down windows or until a door is opened.

My '17 didnt come with it, but I can tell you it has become quite the valuable junk drawer.
