Nice. Are you also going upgrade the rear? I was but for me I don’t really think I need them. Not sure how well the stocks will hold up though. I have around 20 watts rms going to them now.

I did the cheap JVC speakers. My seats are folded down 24/7 so you really can’t hear the tears anyways.

the only thing I haven’t figured out is that rap/electric music sounds really good, but rock style music doesn’t sound as good. I MAY change out the front speakers to something else that can handle both.i have zero experience tuning the equalizer on my deck though

I went with these tweeters due to the overwhelming good reviews

Any recommendations for front speakers that are preferably under 50 that will go good with these tweeters?

Are you thinking 2 or 3 way? If your planning on deck power only and don’t want to add amp I would probably use a 3 way so you get the full range of sound then adjust your tweeter to your preferences. I think that would help give you a better sound for your rock and acceptable base. The Rockford Fosgate R165x3s I think are right at 50 bucks and they also have a 2 way model at the same price if you prefer those. I’ve always been happy with there stuff.

Sure you could use those they come with an in-line crossover though so your source is going to go into it and then out to the mid and tweeter. The problem you might encounter is now those signals are being filtered and you’re only going to be hearing the mids and highs so you will likely find that now you need another system component in the form of a sub to get your lower bass tones. If you go with a 3 way you can take your current speaker out hook up your positive and negative and your good to go. That way you will be pushing full range to a speaker that’s built for just that so it should sound pretty good. Your current tweeter can stay right where it is it should be fine. But like I said man I’m no expert this is just what I have found in my experience. Definitely get other opinions there are a lot of guys on here with way more knowledge than I have.
