I have a 15 4.0 4x4 dc with 80k. For quite some time now I have had a steering wheel vibration. I recently replaced the outer tierods and got an alignment. Now it feels better but on the freeway, I get a vibration. Now, this vibration feels like the wheels are going left and right intermittently. Sometimes it is nearly unnoticeable on smooth sections. While other times it fully shakes the wheel like 1/4 in back and forth. With reading a few threads it seems some have replaced the rack bushings. I'm thinking of trying this. I feel at even low speeds that it feels a little clunky at times. So I wanted to see what other people think about this issue on a stock suspension truck with TRD pro wheels. I'm thinking about some polyurethane bushings from Energy. The install seems simple and the solution seems mostly accurate.

In my experience, the best way to tell if you need steering rack bushings is to take a look at your steering rack from under the truck while a friend turns the wheel side to side.

When my rack bushings were shot, you could visibly see the rack moving/twisting when cranking the steering wheel
