    Hello All,

Well, with the heat wave in Southern CA almost over, our AC is now acting up. The VERY weird thing about this is we get cold air from the two outside vents, the ones by the window. The two inner vents, by the stereo, is blowing out WARM/HOT air!

The only thing I can think of is a servo to a flap on the airbox under the dash might be off, but this is just too odd for me to wrap my head around. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there an easy solution?

Sounds like a low R134a Charge issue and a leak. I had a leak and the symptoms were Drivers side vent cold, and as you move towards the right the air discharged was warmer as you proceed to the passenger side vent.

Cold >>> Cool >>> Warm >>> Very Warm.

Repaired the leaks and recharged and has been good for several years now.

There have been several on here with the same symptoms and all have ended up being a leak.

Don't use a auto parts store R134a Cans to charge it. It's just going to leak out again.

Thanks Jimmy. I would not have thought about low refrigerant, but that turned out to be the problem. We are giving it some time before we recheck it to see if it leaked, but all looks good now.

    Thanks.

    Stock for now.. maybe
I started having this issue about 2 weeks ago but like stated above from left (driver cold) to right (passenger warm) but i haven't tried to diagnose yet but hopefully level is just low and a small leak somewhere easily fixed.

This thread was just going recently, maybe will give you a bit more info

We have not found a leak. We are going to recheck it in a week or so as we were not looking any pressure when we filled it up, but we shall see.
