lol, Right? I'm not changing 4lo or reverse throttle limits as of now. I also upped the Maximum speed limiter to 226KPH. Never know when you have to try and outrun the police hahahah.

I don't like artificial limits. But, I think it was said that we're drag limited to just over 100mph / 160kph? It would be fun to find out.

I figured there wasn't enough HP to get much over 100. But the setting is there to be changed........

one of the beta tunes had trouble upshifting when floored. I've bounced off of fuel cut/rev limiter in 3rd with 33s and a lift at about 115. I'm sure 4th could pull a little more. It just took a while to get there.

    Interesting.

That was basically what I had to do to get any speed out of the parents' car when I was a teen. Wrap it out manually in 2nd then flick it to 3rd.

So if I did not want any artificial throttle limits whatsoever I just have to set values to 100% in the corresponding tables and adjust air load tables? Just making sure I’m following this correctly..

Ok, so now that the truck has learned to behave again, I can say that the difference in 1st gear 2H with throttle limits set to 100 all the way across the rev range is noticeable.. you'll want all traction nannies off to fully appreciate it though.
    Is it game changing? No.
The butt dyno tells me it's worth doing, just for the fact that the truck seems to accelerate more smoothly or evenly.
I was doing rolling starts from idle (clutch out) up to about 4k, and the only slight dip or nose over that I briefly felt was right at around 1k, but she picked it up quick and took off after that.
I wasn't flooring it right off the mark, but I was in the pedal deeper than usual. I had the hammer down fully around 1500 I'd guess.
Anyway, these results are the combination of 2.0 SFOB Premium on 91E0 gas, the Air Load table X 4 mod, and the 1st gear throttle limit removal mod.
My goal all along has been to remove artificial limits to what this engine is capable of in the low end, particularly when just getting moving under load (ie starting on a steepish incline).
I have not applied any changes to the Primary Throttle Torque Target table yet (linear throttle mod).
Once I run my current file for a few hundred km, I will probably start tinkering with that.
    Disclaimer - YMMV

Did a quick data log after adjusting air load tables, primary torque target table, setting throttle limits to 100, and setting ACIS High activation RPM to 3400. I never saw the throttle open more then 82.5%.

I also did a log at lower speed but guess I didn't save it. Disclaimer still new to logging....

1st gear defiantly is shorter and pulls a hell of a lot harder though. Low end torque is much improved also.

82* is the allowable limit of the throttle, so sounds like it is getting full throttle.

Thanks for that info. Definitely on the right track here. Thanks for the continued improvements of the software, the truck driving experience is greatly improved with every update and tweek!
