really curious about towing with the dual swing arm and a spare mounted on the back. i suppose your trailer would need a long tongue

anyone got pics or experience to speak on that?

Yes if you are running a tire on the back you will have to account for it sure. I've never seen anyone needing an extension with a trailer running a tire on the the back of the truck as most trailers have a long enough tongue.

any ideas of measurement how much higher the hitch is with this bumper than a stock hitch position. Does it relocate it say 5” or so inches higher?

also, is it possible to order without cut out holes for backup sensors my truck doesn’t have them and without the bedside protective tube?

Yes you can just reply to the email confirmation. It could add time depending if we have any sensor-less skins without cut and not started.

i didn't have my OEM license place lamps so i picked up these on Amazon. they plug directly into the stock harness. quality is ok. i hope they will be waterproof for a few years. i have a 2012.

needed to trim a bit of plastic with an exacto to get them in there.

    Solid bumper! Thx BAMF!
I made this a project my family would not forget and could be proud of. They all had their turn and fun cutting the bumper before I made the final cut.

I’ve been running HD rear leaf springs for the past year with no weight. With the rear bumper just sitting in my bed my suspension finally feels right, also i’m about level now! Hopefully I can install this Sunday to get a better idea how it’ll look!

Good morning! Until BAMF produces a license plate bracket, what are our options for a compatible flip-up license plate bracket to utilize the hitch?

Also, has anyone relocated their rear camera? I think BAMF is working on a bracket to help relocate. My spare tire blocks 98% of the view.

    Thanks!

See but if I tell you, that’s cheating and means you won’t have to put the hours of measuring as I did lol.

Totally joking! I used someone else’s method from earlier on. I got a piece of lumber and used it to measure from the top of the bed sides 17.75 inches down the side. I measure at multiple points then used tape to make a line.

I then used a grinder and cutoff wheel to make the cut, it cut really easy. I saw some people took off their fender flares, I left mine on, also with the inside liner, didn’t have any issues. I only had it on for fitment, just took it off to get it painted.

    image.jpg

OH, biggest thing.. have help. My buddy came over... this is NOT a one man job, and I applaud anyone that even attempts to do it by themselves!

The stock bumper/hitch took some coercing to get off. After than we used a couple floor jacks and jack stands to help us mount it.
