I have an 05 and while taking out the sensor doing a wheel brg replacement I broke it. I purchased a Beck Arnley from rock auto and went to put it in and I can't push it in very far.
While the wheel brg was out I cleaned the hole which I thought was pretty good but I can still see some rust.
The hole measured .371 - .377 and the sensor fit OD measured .385 - .387. And the ORing OD with a little crush measured .410 - .420.
Would anyone have a toyota sensor that could verify what the OD is so I can compare it to the one I bought? Or what the hole size should be? Another guy on this board bought beck arnley sensors for an 06 and said they worked perfect. I don't know if I have to ream out the hole or the sensor is too large. I don't have the broken one to compare the size unfortunately.
I thought this was going to go in so easy and be done with but not so. Thanks

I’m the guy that put the Beck Arnley sensors in. As I mentioned, I glass bead blasted the knuckles and painted them and I didn’t have any problems with the sensors. Maybe you still have some rust in the hole. Take some fine sand paper, roll it up and spin it in the hole to remove the rust.
