@MOC221_ and I did the first gear ones but our trucks are MT, so YMMV

It lets you get 100% throttle in 1st instead of knee capping you at 25% or whatever they are set to

Look at the map and think about it.

if you floor it, it will reference this map, and give you the amount of throttle this map says, at each rpm point.

If you floor it, and you actually WANT full throttle at 1000, 4000, 6000 RPM, then you need to set them to 100.

If you set it to 50, then the maximum throttle you can have (if you floor it) is 50.

With 1st gear already being so strong, what are you guys even getting out of having 100% throttle available? 1st gear as it is is nuts.

I'd try unplugging the battery for a little longer. I also noticed your battery voltage was 12.8+? are you using a battery charger hooked up?

It pulls smoother. Before it felt like as you accelerated, it bumped up as it sped up. Which makes sense since it was limited in diff spots.

That makes sense. Thank you for the information! I'm trying hard to understand this. Just wasn't sure if this map was like the ones labeled throttle limits normal 1-6, the one you told me NOT to change the low limits to 100 because I'd essentially have an ON/OFF throttle. Don't necessarily want that :D
    especially unexpectedly.

I did at one point because it was getting low, so I tried it with it hooked up and without.

I may just let it sit unplugged overnight. I have to get up at 330am and it’s 10

I had a soft brick last summer off a test map. Couldn't flash anything. Unplugged my battery and held my cables together for a couple mins and that worked.

What if OVTune is Willy Wonka and this whole tuning process is like his chocolate factory? MTs and 04B04 got the Golden Ticket and now he is watching us to see who is gonna figure this whole thing out and be given a job to work with OV to take over the company when Mat flies away in his TT Tacoma....

Well, the battery sat unplugged all night. Just tried it again... no luck. Though the voltage was low, jumped it off then tried it again.. nothing.

@OVTune do I need to send my ECU to you?

I may also download the software to another computer and try?

    who knows

    :annoyed:

I did let a friend borrow my cable to flash his tundra. I don’t see how that would be an issue. Just trying to think of anything I’ve done different.

    I’m sad.

Try a different USB, and check your OBD plug for loose pins.
