Mainly just gonna be some pictures, and my opinions. This was my first trip there in Turkey Bay. I used to ride my FZ6 on the gravel fire and access roads but that was 12 years ago.

I stayed on the yellow trails except for one orange trail.

The truck did fine. Lowered air pressure to 17 psi, used 4x4 and long press on trac off button. Never needed more.

Pics to follow when we get home.

I am definitely going back. It was a blast.20200919_161021.jpg

Ok the law enforcement truck uses Ka band radar so you know he is coming a long way off.
The people were most all very friendly. The yellow trails have wide spots to pull off for others to pass. It is just a great place.

How are the access roads out that way? Did you hit any of them on this trip? Don't know if I'd be able to fit my Tundra on any of the Turkey Bay trails.

The access roads were fine years ago. I expect they are still fine. I didn't see any full size trucks on the trails, lots of jeeps, sXs, 4 wheelers, and dirt bikes. A few purpose built crawlers. No other tacomas, or frontiers.

I will go back. Just a 2 hour drive each way.

About the same for me. I may have to check it out at some point. Never got the chance when I had the Taco but I'm willing to pay the little bit of cash to see what it's about.
