I hope that someone has a simple answer. I customized my molded mudflaps on my Silverado. I added a running light and a signal light. To keep it simple the running light is red+ and black- and the signal light is orange+ and green-. I want the running light to de-energize when the signal light gets energized. I have a bunch of 5 pin relays if that will be needed Thank you

Welcome. Odd to ask a Silverado question on a Tacoma site. But regardless you need a normal closed relay feeding the running light that is tapped into the signal circuit. So when the signal is energized the relay is powered and opens to break the running light circuit.

    Pin 85 (-)
    Pin 86 ( + orange signal light)
    Pin 87 not connected
Pin 87a (red running light, source side)
Pin 30 (red running light, light side)

*Must break up (Cut) the running light wire and run each side through pins 87a and 30 on the relay
