I've been interested in putting a light bar in the front bumper of my '19. I've seen the options for putting the bar behind the lower "vent" in the front bumper, and also have seen the lo-pro aftermarket steel bumpers that typically include shackle studs and provisions for mounting a winch, and some also have the bull bar thing that sticks out the top. I only am after a light bar, and the large black plastic piece on the front bumper looks like a perfect place for some aftermarket company to make something to replace it with that included a cutout for a light bar. I have not yet seen a company that does this. Is anyone aware of such a product? I've included a pic for reference, but I assume everyone knows what I mean when I refer to the large black plastic piece on the front bumper. Thanks in advance.

I have not seen a company do this either. In my opinion, it would not be a very good idea, since that plastic piece is very flexible, and is what will actually hit something in the case of any contact with another vehicle, or object, and any light bar inside would be destroyed, or at the very least cracked and leak water, bend brackets, etc.

My truck rolled a couple feet forward while in neutral a few months ago, and tapped a square trailer hitch of my friend's truck in front of me. It made a small square indentation in the black plastic part of the bumper we are talking about. It's mildly annoying to know it's there, but didn't hurt anything else. My point is if a lightbar were there, it would have been wrecked, even with such a low velocity roll forward and "tap."

I have the Cali Raised hidden light bar in that "vent" area, and couldn't be happier with it. It puts out a horrific amount of light, and is out of the way of everything. I recommend it to anyone who cares to listen.
