Hi Folks!

Fulfilled a 10 year dream and pulled the trigger on a 2020 TRD Off Road, Double cab extended bed. Both my wife and I have been Overland style travelers for many years, both here in the US, and internationally, but have never owned the vehicles we have used in our travels, except for my days of motorcycle overland adventure travels: Those 2 wheel days for me are done.. Maybe..... Putting the final touches on a configuration list and upgrades to suit our future style of traveling, and I look forward to checking in from time to time to read the various threads and opinions of gear/rig set-ups, driving techniques, and personal stories etc. of how life has been for others out there. As a side note, I have (and still do) attended and even worked for the past Overland Expos East over the last7 years, and I found them to be a great place to meet the vendors in person to get a"hands on" look into their products. It has been, and continues to be (change of ownership and management) a great venue to talk to many other members of that "overland tribe" of adventure travelers with a variety of vehicles, rig set-ups, training seminars, and authors on the myriad subjects of such a style of travel. Sad that this year's Overland Expo East in Arrington VA was cancelled due to the Covid 19 virus: There's always 2021 Overland West, Central and back here in the East next year!
