I just bought a 2020 trd OR 4 x 4 and would like to swap the stock grill with the trd pro grill.. I got quoted for about $1500 from the dealership was wondering what others experiences have been with doing this swap

a lot of places sell pro rep grills around here. just gotta look. its not too expensive either. tbh the oem pro grill isnt that much more. certainly not 1.5k expensive. just gotta look around.

edit: here you go. just off the top of my head cause this is the vendor im gonna use to buy my pro led headlights. im sure you could find it a little bit cheaper at one of the other vendors, but this one is oem atleast. https://www.sparksparts.com/tacoma-pro

$1500 for the instill because they have to put a new camera and everything not $1500 for the grill

doesnt offroad and sports come with the camera already if you opt for the package? not too savvy on that since i got a 19. even though, if i didnt have the camera i would just get the 18-19 grill since you still have the tss sensor to deal with.

Yes they do come with a camera but I believe they need to install a new one when they put the new grill

The pro Grill With the Sensor garnish piece should cost around $800 parts only Then you can install it your self the only thing the dealer Needs to do is reset the sensor don’t think it’s cost $700 to do that keep looking

The 2018+ Pro grille is only $838 CAD from my local dealer. Super easy to install yourself. Looks like they are trying to rip you off!

Does the camera need to actually be replaced when you switch to a pro grill or is it just "suggested".

Still thinking of doing this. My 2020 OR does not have a front camera, only the sensor from the tech package. I would prefer to get the OEM versions, is there a part number for that garnish piece that holds the sensor?
