Yeah I know this probably belongs on an Xterra forum. This is after I saw Suki up in the rafters of the garage. I’m just glad I saw her up there and didn’t lock her in the garage.

 

Ummm excuse me ma'am but counters are not for kitties.... Lucy thinks she owns the place and can do whatever she wants.

 

They do own the place, we just make the payments.

 

This is true.... thank goodness they let us live here too.

Just when you think they are all done, cats surprise you. I expected to lose Ginger within a week of my last update, but since then she has had many more good days than bad, and continues to enjoy life. The recent chilly weather seems to have reinvigorated her, and she's exploring the backyard with renewed enthusiasm. She's moving around more in the house as well, enjoying and endless supply of treats and junk food, and seems unaware that anything is wrong. She still sleeps a lot - even more than normal for a cat - and we realize that she's still terminal, but the Summer of Ginger is about to turn into Fall. We are happy to be able to give her all the time she can manage.

I figured they would not like too much, never had them wear collars or bandanas before so definitely not the happiest lol. Gave them some treats, hopefully they’ll get used to it

She seems to be enjoying her (sort of) new house!

We lived in this house two years ago and didn’t know if she’d remember it. But she seemed comfortable the minute we brought her in. Asked to go out in the place her cat door used to be. After a few days we let her out and she kept to the nice big fenced courtyard we have and even caught a few lizards already.
