They save the lead for the paint, children’s toys, and airbags.

Not clicking because I’m pretty sure I don’t want any of that ending up in my YouTube suggestions.

Good idea. Horrible rapping, way off key, and sucky lyrics. Just plain terrible.

Used to be able to add a period after .com in the video's URL and you'd lose the adds and it's anonymous so you aren't bombarded with crap in the algorithm.

But you still had ads to deal with. This helped with ads and anonymity.

Why not? Can you imagine the torque? As long as the battery is sealed and lasts long enough I think it's great.

    Bet the thing really scoots.

These batteries and motors are DC, not AC. How many deaths have their been from electric trolling motors???????

I fail to see the danger...

Actually, this is probably one of the best EV applications I've seen in a while. Maintaining a boat combustion engine in harsh saltwater environments is a huge pain in the ass. An electric motor always starts.....

    And flip flops.
I just don't trust the water tight part. Boats get SOAKED in heavy seas. I've seen compartments that are supposed to be dry get wet.

Something goes wrong and you have to access the battery area, during a torrential thunderstorm, heavy seas blowing water everywhere. Just seems like a high risk situation. I could be wrong, just my thoughts.

It's fairly easy to make a system like that watertight if you're designing and planning from the get-go for it to be submerged.
