Yes they do. I thought you meant built into the spout. But mine has an OEM vent which works better than any drilled I've ever tried. Threaded.

Why not just get rid of it properly? Seems easy enough.

You do you bro. All I am giving you is the source which enables you to convert a shitty new can into a normal can without the mystery of whatever was in this old can you inherited. I wouldn't put it out there if I didn't have a can downstairs with the same thing, and one on order for another can.

30 m to get rid of it properly. no thanks. This a done deal. Its in tank and next time I'm pouring it in my old oil as suggested.

Like I said. Not a fan of the conversion cans. They just don't work as good when your cans constantly expanding/contracting all day. Prefer Original threaded vents, plastic 5g. To each their own

I use similar cans when I go dirt biking, love’em. Way better than any other gas can I’ve tried.

I guess that depends on what you use it for. A proper Jerry can is going to be much better for lugging extra fuel around in your bed, or on your bumper.

These are more narrow (most jerry cans extend past a 285 tire) and have a fill hose so it seems more like a win-win

I guess if a fill hose and more narrow are your priorities, then yes.

I'm more concerned about durability and not spilling, so I'll go with a Jerry can

From gasoline being called explosive (lol) to ☭ gas cans, to using your neighbor's lawn as a hydrocarbon waste site, this thread delivers.
