Rgb halo wiring

Hey TW I have an unusual question about rgb halos and drivers/controller. So I have had halos in my headlights for several years now when I did my retrofit. The other day they wouldn't come on and I am positive that my controller crapped out. I have a new rf controller that I installed but I made a big mistake. The old ir controller had white wiring with a plug on the end and the new one is the screw on each wire type. (Not sure what that is called) So like a dumbass I cut the plug off the end. Now I can't figure out which wire is which since they were all white with different marks on each one. I already have the rf one up and running but my wires are not correct because the halos only show dim red or nothing. I hooked up a strip and tested the controller and it worked fine. Anybody know a way to at least decifer which wire is +12? Figured one of you gurus might know a good trick. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
