Hmm my cats kittens obviously want to sleep with their mom which wasn't a problem before but we just got her fixed and ever since than she's hissed them away when bedtime comes around

We got the mom fixed because she went Into heat one too many times and wasn't nursing the kittens anymore

I LOVE black cats. I rescued a young one off the streets in Denver a long time ago when he wandered up to my group of friends and I looking for attention and food. I cared for him in my studio apt secretly for about 6 months and when I graduated, I gave him to a friend who had also considered taking him in. I named him Jags after a black jaguar. He was so chill, loved cuddling, purred like a Harley Davidson, and spent most of his day laying on my loft bed looking out the open windows. I still think about him quite a bit.

Looks like I have three more "pet" feral cats (kittens).

Was curious why mama has been showing up to eat three times per day. She normally just shows up in the morning...

She trusts you and your home with the safety of her little ones. That's a huge compliment.

My 3 cats are going nuts. Live in Houston with Tropical Storm Beta and we have had about 10" of rain in last 2 days.:rain: So my kitty puppies follow me everywhere, bathroom, kitchen, back porch, garage well every dang place. What's funny I leave the back door open so they can check out the world. Two of them came back soaking wet.
Well there was a lapse of rain and the children went to the backyard. They never saw a baby lake before.
Never a dull moment around here.:)

Ahhh... they look like my youngest daughters cat Bailey, who was lost to a vehicle. Such a cool color. Bailey was by far one of the coolest animals I have ever had the pleasure to spend time with.

He didn't like Kilo (the GS) much though.

He lived a short life. 15 months, but it was an amazing while we did have him.

We were sure it would have been a coyote/bobcat/bear/owl/fox. We have a pretty good population of coyotes...probably time to get a small game license again soon. Kilo keeps them at the fence line.

We have those out here, but haven't seen any around my chickens...yet. Our chicken Hilton is pretty good though.

I spotted a 4th kitten late yesterday afternoon. I've seen at least two of them eating cat food, so mom can catch a little bit of a break...lol

Not required. If they are like the previous litters, foxes, coyotes, hawks, dogs, etc. will pick them off one at a time. I seriously doubt more than one makes it to adulthood.

Hadn’t posted in a while, started a new job and been super busy. Enzo is doing great with his eye drops, had another appointment a couple weeks ago showing steady improvement. Looks like eye drops will be forever to help combat potential glaucoma issues. Oh well, he takes them like a champ and is 100% back to his normal self.

Working from home this afternoon...such lazy bums I tell ya

Please don't let that happen. Contact a rescue and see if they can come get them - they deserve a chance....
