Took my truck in to look at water leak. They said it was the 3rd brake light seal. After looking at other forums, this is a common problem. Wonder how much this is going to cost me since its only warranties for 3 years 36,000 miles.

Mine leaked shortly after I bought mine certified pre owned. Dealership denied warranty repair no matter how hard I pressed. So I figured I’d do it myself and that’s what I did. I wish I would’ve taken more pictures when I did it. It’s a bit of job but if you have experience wrenching on cars at all it can be done.

Problem.... depending on how long it’s been leaking, there could be mold under the rear seats/carpet .... won’t know until you get into the repair. With the windows closed over night, does it smell musty when you get into the truck the next day?? Good sign of mold concern.

I just replaced mine about a month ago when we had 7 inches of rain in a short period of time.... droplet sitting on the inside of the rear glass trim.... caught it in time.....
