    Heyo,

I'm Spencer, I have a 2008 AC 6MT TRD Sport Taco, but mostly mod my motorcycles instead.

The truck "trucky": Purchased in December of 2015 and was 100% stock aside from a topper.

    Mods:
    - custom scoop intake
    - hood scoop light bar
    - hood glare blocker vinyl thing
    - partial debadge w/ some (now removed) Ivan Stewart stripes
    - HP Tuned
    - URD short shifter
    - 3rd gen TRD OR suspension swap
    - Pioneer HU w/ Carplay
    - Aux fuse block
    - fumoto valve
    - catch can (for funsies)

    The bikes:

    1981 Honda CB750C "Big Honda"

I had owned a 50CC scooter in college, and bought this as my first "real" motorcycle in September of 2015, since then I've modded almost every part of it.

    Then:

    Now:

    Mods:
    - painted twice (once to Orange Mist Metallic, then to Super White II to match the truck)
    - full carb rebuild
    - replaced rear shocks
    - rebuilt front suspension
    - rebuilt lower block w/ all new seals (what a nightmare)
    - cleaned up wiring loom, swapped to LiFePo4 battery and low profile tray
    - LED brake light and turn signals
    - many tanks of gas

    Future items:
    - different air box and jetting kit
    - 4-2-1 exhaust
    - motogadget m-unit and new wiring

    2010 BMW F800GS "Faye"

Purchased in April of 2017 and, surprise, I've done quite a bit to it. I've stayed out of the engine, mostly, and it's my most reliable bike. I've put almost 15,000 or so miles on it since I've bought it, including a nice long trip to Yellowstone. I do ride it offroad, have taken it many places a street bike has no business being, and it has some scars to show for it.

    Then:

    Now:

    Mods:
    - wrapped in white carbon
    - LED headlight swap
    - touring windscreen
    - barkbusters
    - kaoko throttle lock
    - rekluse auto-clutch
    - SW Motech crash bars and skid plate
    - IMS folding shift lever
    - AX-Fied O2 sim
    - double take mirrors
    - full aluminum cases
    - Danmoto slip on exhaust
    - headlight guard yellow vinyl'ed
    - LiFePo4 battery
    - HD Progressive front springs
    - 15 tooth front dampened sprocket
    - Scott's steering stabilizer w/ 2" bar riser

    Future items:
    - fix the heated grips (winter's coming)
    - Hippo hands
    - Front drop in cartridges
    - Rear shock replacement

    1967 Honda CT90 "Little Honda"

I bought 3 60's and 70's CT90's off of a guy on Craigslist, hell of a deal, 3 non-running bikes for $600 total. I took the best parts of all the bikes and created one runner and sold the other two frames and engines.

That winter I took the runner completely apart and rebuilt it from the frame up, including painting it Super White II to match the others. I swapped the front end, new bearings all around, painted almost everything, redid the lighting

This is what it currently looks like:

    Future items:
    - Lifan 140cc swap
    - bars and controls swap
    - 12v harness
    - re-3d-print battery cover
    - figure out a left side pannier

Those are the bikes, I'll update here with pictures as I take them, mods as I make them, and general BS-ery.

    Spencer

Yesterday's purchase was a box of spark plugs for the tiny honda. I'm trying to get an off idle stumble to go away and am curious if it's because of a fouled plug. Guess we'll find out.

$50?! You stole that! That'll be a fun bike to clean up and get going again. Gotta love old Hondas.

Basically, hahah. Could pawn just the starter off on eBay for twice that. Doesn’t have a title but that’s what Vermont is good for

Just spent $314 on new grips for left and right  The rubber is bonded to the heated grip layer, which means that you unless you're super careful you can't just slide the old off and put new grips on, you have to buy the whole time thing.

I tried last Fall to just replace the rubber portion of the grip and failed on the left hand side, sometimes that heater works, most of the time it doesn't. I ride most of the winter (unless there is snow on the road) and heated grips aren't really an option to not have this year.

Still mad about it, but in a week or two when my hands are toasty again I'm guessing I'll get over it :annoyed:

Got the grips replaced, I'm so excited to have working grip heaters again. The OEM grips are thinner than the progrips I had put on, so hopefully it'll heat quicker now too. Also got the Hippo Hands all sorted and they fit great, go on and off in about ten seconds per side.

Update on the hippo hands: they’re freaking sweet. So nice to not have any wind or moisture on your hands. Still need to pull the top half of the VPS off and slap on some velcro to help hold it all in place, per the instructions

We got our first snow here Friday, ended up with an inch and a half or so this morning. Earliest I've ever seen it snow in Pullman, got the always great Tacoma snow picture:

I took off the Ivan Stewart stripes from the front bumper the other week. They had definitely faded over time and were starting to look not so great. I actually really love how it looks without them now. Makes the hood scoop decal pop even more.

The last of my big maintenance order for the BMW showed up today. On the list:

    - Fork seals and fluid
    - Spark plugs
    - Valve check
    - new cam chain slider while I'm in there
    - New valve cover gasket (mines been seeping for forever)
    - Coolant change
    - Oil / oil filter / air filter change
    - New oil drain plug (they use a 10mm aluminum internal hex, which strips out easier than shit. Only like $30 for a new one and figured it was worth that to avoid the headache)
    - Probably swapping out at least one of the two fork springs
    - new skid plate mounting bungs
    - replacing the chain slider media, mine is very worn down

Bike has 42ish thousand miles on it currently, it's time for a lot of this shit
Also, gotta love ordering from Max BMW. Not only was everything 15% off but they always throw in packs of M&M's

Spent almost $800 yesterday on a new engine and everything to make the swap over from the stock 1967 90cc engine to a Piranha 140cc engine with semi-auto clutch and electric start :bananadance:

To say I'm excited would be an understatement.

This is the engine I went with:
    https://tboltusa.com/store/piranha-140cc-bottom-electric-start-semi-auto-start-engine-p-10616.html
    upload_2020-10-28_9-44-42.jpg

The upper engine mount should line up perfectly, the lower mount I bought an adapter for from Dr ATV. New engine comes with a carb, full wiring harness, and some other goodies. I'm thinking the rest of the harness (headlight, tail light) should be fairly easy to do myself. I need to probably design and print a new battery holder for it, since with an electric start it's going to need a signifcantly larger battery along with moving from 6v to 12v (hallelujah).

Where I live is hilly AF, so I'm probably going to keep it geared pretty low, I'd be happy with a 50mph top speed, as long as it'll still power wheelie in a couple gears ;)

Not looking forward to fabbing up the exhaust. I bought the cheapest generic ebay pit bike exhaust I could find, knowing that I'll hopefully replace it in the next year after I figure out what'll work best. The only other major unknown for me at this point is if my stock skid plate will still fit/work. I'm assuming it won't, at least not without some major hacking to it, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'd love to keep it if I can.

Hopefully engine will ship out today, a lot of the other goodies already have.

I’m down one- the Beta 300rr was stolen about 4 weeks ago.

So I did what any red-blooded American would do... ordered a 2021 300rr!

Fucking thieves. Glad you were able to order another though!

In all seriousness, what a well rounded bunch of bikes.

    IT400, classic
    Beta's are beasts
    Is the GASGAS a 125?
You really don't see many husky terra's around, thats super cool
Can't tell if that's a KTM or a Ducati or? Either way, looks like a freaking blast to hoon around on
And of course the pair of scooters for shits and gigs haha why do I get the feeling those have been hopped up?
