So a smashed a bug with the back of my hand at a stop light and my knuckle broke the windshield!! Cheap POS if you ask me. The bug is to the right of the crack about 2 inches. Be careful I guess is all I can say. 52E2E24D-45EF-48C4-99C9-E73429E4F10D.jpg

I would go with that except at 57 I am having trouble lifting up my 33’s when I rotate the tires!!

Not uncommon, the windshield is designed to withstand forces from the exterior. Unfortunately this can, and does, happen with all modern windshields.

exact same thing happened to me in my 2008 VW. that was an expensive replacement with rain sensors.

and I've also replaced the Tacoma windshield once about a month ago after owning the truck for 3 1/2 years.

windshields crack pretty easily from the inside. Pretty normal if you punch your window.

Guy at work did the same thing to one of our trucks. He’s known to have anger issues so his excuse was questionable but now I know it’s possible.

Barely hit it though, light backhand. It's just a small bug!

That’s to bad, I have used Safelite several times over the years. They do great work and have good people, normally.
