sr5 base 4x4 owners , does your 4x4 switch illuminate ?

when you turn headlights on , does it light up with everything else on dash ? mine does not, and when i pulled switch actuator thing out , there is a spot 4 a bulb, which had the base for the bulb in it -just not the glass part - i tested the contact area for 12 v , and got nothing. just wondering if maybe its a base 4x4 distinction ...

I illuminated my 4x4 switch using the above product. Works great! Buy one while you can, not sure how much longer he'll be making them.

 

Yup, I put one of these in. Works very nice and the kit has the correct terminals to put in the 4wd switch connector.

 

ok thanx , checked that forum out . i pulled my actuator back out , and it has a 5 pin connector from harness , 3 spots in use for 4x4 , other 2 unused ( not wired ) spots go to to light bulb circuit . toyota cheaped out here !!!
