What do you think of the asking price?

I've been trying to sell my stock tires and rims (with about 40k miles in good condition) for about $550. A local guy is offering $350. Am I asking too much, or would this be a rip off?

 

I'm assuming they are your 17" sports edition alloy wheels with factory tires?

Take the $350. IMO $550 is a little high.

 

i got $570 for mine that were 3 months old with 2500 miles on them....took me a few weeks to sell them to.

 

I agree that $550 is a bit high especially since they have 40K miles on them so the tires cant be that great. But I think you can get a little more then $350 as well. Try and find a happy medium and see if he will go for like $400-$450. Might as well give it a shot.

 

i sold my stock OR wheels and tires with about 10k miles on them for 500$....the guy was more interested in the wheels rather than the tires, he had a first gen taco
