I was looking at 265's but ended up going the 255 route. I have about 200mi on them, Still averaging 18.2 according to the cluster, so in reality it should be a bit better than that. Very happy with them, excited to get it offroad!

 

Truck looks kind of funny with the 245s! Anybody runin 285s on the 4 banger?

Camping in the Alucab was good, even in the summer was not an issue. I Solo camped a lot so it was good with just me.

@ Anyone.. I have some gloss black emblems that I want to knock some of the gloss off of.
Is there a tint spray that I could use to make these gloss black emblems look more matte black?

I would get a can of duplicolor matte or satin depending on how “less shine” you want. That should do the trick!

 

Used spray paint to fix my truck then got it wrapped. The color matched perfectly than the new 2 part clear worked well.

 

is one enough to do the whole truck?

Installed raptor lights to my OEM grill. Love it. They’re on 24/7 as long as the car is on.

Replaced the plastic bezel. I’m still a bit surprised that this part failed on all three points. Pretty easy to swap out. The hardest part was getting the switch that controls the side mirrors out. I’m going to email Toyota customer care to see if I can get reimbursed.

 

I ordered 3 shipments of 36 sqft. I literally stripped my whole truck and covered more than 90% of the metal, and I also got the backsides of the cabin panels.

I only ended up using 2 of the orders and still have most of the 3rd set of 36sqft left. I still need to do the headliner, but I'm afraid to damage it. So I'll probably have a shop do that
