that does look pretty sweet. correct me if i am wrong but isnt the rotrex unit just a bit smaller than the procharger unit?@PhoS just wondering how much boost are you going to be pushing ~ 10lbs? and @Smokehouse is your kit only pushing ~7lbs? when do you notice the boost kicking in?

Depends on which Rotrex but yes they are smaller, but also have a separate oiling system. I have an 8psi pulley, I think Smokehouse has the same? He said it kicked in around 3500.

Having a tough time deciding what gauges to buy for my A pillar and innovated dual AFR is a must but I've been told their boost gauge isn't great does anyone have this experience?

I've used Innovate before and they were fine. I wen't with AEMs this time which turned out pretty nice. ISS is good too but I don't think they do wideband.

I went with the AEMs because they were easily integrated into the HPtuner. Dual AFR would be nice but it's not a deal breaker. I'll add another one later if needed for HP goals.

how hard are these to install? I was talking to a buddy of mine who owns a body shop and he couldn't recommend anyone around here that he trusted enough to send someone too and said to consider doing it myself

The gauges? Super easy, and that's coming from someone who hates wiring. Definitely DIY.

We're up and running. As expected I had to reconfigure a few things from my original plan. Working on getting it tuned!

Well got a free invite to run a few passes at the drag strip and I'm not impressed but not suprised either. Definitely no lack of power but the truck just can't put it down. Even after burn outs the truck still spun half way down the strip everytime, but cooper discovers aren't exactly drag slicks

    Fastest time was 15.6

Does anyone make drag wheels for our bolt pattern? Also I'm taking traction suggestions

This is how Werty used to put the times down. He'd launch in 4H and flip over to 2wd mid run.

I run at the sand drags in 4H and rear locker anytime mod. Never tried switching to 2wd on the fly. Wonder if it makes a noticeable difference in times on pavement

Werty used to do it all of the time. You can see it in this video.

Very challenging to do in a manual between shifts.

It's been a while since I've lived my life a quarter mile at a time.....but, before you spend $ on drag wheels and slicks or a traction bar setup, have you done the following yet?

    1. Regardless if it was Coopers, BFGs, Goodyear, etc....did you lower your rear tire psi? What was it at?

    2. Do you have rear shocks with adjustability? If so, try cranking them stiff to prevent rear squat.

    3. Can you add 100-200lbs (bags of sand, etc) in the rear bed over the drive wheels? Not sure if that will pass tech inspection.
