If anyone rides in the Gunnison/ Crested Butte area. It would be awesome to have some people to ride with.

    Picked up a 2020 KTM 300 XC-W TPI 6 Days a couple weeks ago.

The day I brought it home...

    20200611_182927.jpg

Stripped off the lights and 6 Days plastic. Added accessories, protection, Rekluse clutch, and new graphics. Ready to race...

    20200627_062706.jpg

Took it out today for its maiden voyage near Estes Park, CO...

    20200627_100226.jpg

The bike on the right is my old 2014 KTM 350 XCF-W 6 Days that I sold to my brother-in-law a few weeks ago. Today was his first ride on his new-to-him bike.

Is it street legal? It looks like it has a plate bracket from the factory.

SO, anyone have any recommendations for riding areas? I know there's a bunch of forest, and I'm trying to wrap my head around it all. Seems like Rampart is close

Also, bought the GF a TTR, so any place that is a good spot to teach her how to ride?

Not a lot of options this time of year. Rampart and North Divide are awesome but they're going to be mostly snowed in for a few more months. Another few weeks and Rabbit Valley and San Rafael Swell areas will be warming up enough to not be miserable, but they're quite a haul from Denver (GJ and Green River, UT, respectively). MX tracks are your best shot right now. Aztec in the Springs and IMI in Erie have decent open riding areas.

Cool. I figured it would be mostly snowed-in for now. Trying to get ready for spring(ish)!

Nice! I love riding in the Albany area. Hoping they open it up this year after last year's wild fires. What lake is that?
