I know these are two completely different engines and computers, however just throwing this out in case it helps your situation. My previous vehicle was a 2004 taco (3.4 v6) that I gave to my daughter when buying my 2017 so it is still in the family. I bought that 2004 in 2008, yet it still has fewer miles than yours! Every few years, I would get the same symptoms and error code (different cylinder from yours being a v6) with the first time still under warranty so I took it in. Every time it occurred over the year it has been either a "bad plug", "bad coil", or even "bad cables". I couldn't believe the "bad cable" causing the issue the first time, yet when the problem didn't go away after changing the plug and coil, it did go away after changing the cables. I quickly got to the point of simply changing these out when it starts acting up and it goes away for a few years. Obviously there is something else going on to cause these to go bad so "quickly", however the techs couldn't figure it out when I did take it in, and replacing these are an easy "fix" for it so I gave up trying to find the root cause.

Soo. You should probably address the plugs before 300k. :bananadead:

Fork! I can't imagine what other maintenance has been overlooked for hundreds of thousands of miles.
