    I use a 300w 6cup rice cooker to make rice when I'm camping but you can also put meat, eggs, veggie in the pot at the same time.

    Also if you like hot pot. You should look up self heating hot pot, it has a heat pack at the bottom that when mixed with water, will boil. Really delicious and all you need is water.

    Get a generator. 2000w. Then you can use that stove... maybe a microwave and some hot pockets too. Why not?

    New MREs are legit! You can always buy a few, take out the crackers/peanut butter, etc and save the heaters for hotdogs/eggs/bacon.

    Because the internet isn’t the best place to ask clarification on this. Call a ranger station and ask them.

    OP did answer the question, quite nicely.
    Question asked. Answer received. Also a snide comment received, overstating the obvious. All good. The internet is the perfect place to get all of that.

    Not exactly cooking on an electric stove but this is what I did. Get a Hotlogic from Amazon and cook your food at home (or get frozen meals). Use the Hotlogic to heat it up at camp.

    This got me thinking. Why not ratchet strap a few crock pots on low in the bed while driving to your destination?

    This!
    Bungee to hold the lid down, ratchet strap along the milk crate. Found this idea on this forum, tested it out the following weekend.

    Oh we had a big fire. Road bikes, ate dogs and brats, caught fish now back home, unpacked and I’m ready for a nap lol. Great trip though, kids had fun. For anyone that has a topper, I’ve noticed the bed rug XLT mat that covers just the bottom of the bed (no sides) but extends one piece to the tailgate is great for keeping dust nearly completely out of the bed. All of my roads at my fishing, hunting, camping spot are gravel and before I put it in I’d get a LOT of dust in through the tailgate.

    Now I’m curious, what did you make? And how did it turn out? Do you bomb some backroads to help stir it, or pull over and do it proper?

    @Two Tons
    The first go around was pot roast. Started it at the house before getting on the road, basically only had the last 2 hours to cook while in the truck. Turned out perfect.
    2nd was Spaghetti and meatballs. Learned some good lessons. Was fine, but not nearly as good as the pot roast. Haven't done a multi day trip that requires me to cook a 2nd meal in it. The crockpot liners make clean up a cakewalk too.

    Very cool. It’s interesting to see what all works with the bed outlet. It’s a feature I find more use for than I originally thought I would.

    I have a twin size air mattress with built in pump from Amazon. Perfect in LB. plug in to inflate and deflate, no need for separate DC pump.
