The kid has been a Toyota fan ever since he was old enough to understand his old man was.

He's a two time Tundra (used) owner. Loyal to the Toyota as he's seen what my old Gen1 did. And he listened to the old man....

Below....his first ever new car purchase.

He searched, held out, and waited for what he wanted. Tacoma TRDOR in cement. Oh, the salesman kept tossing SR's, SR5's, and TRDSports at him in many different configurations...but he held strong.

He wasn't too high on the cement (as he'd only seen them from photos), but told him if they'd of had cement available in the TRDOR when I was looking, I may have gone that way) I bought my Taliban Tan back in 2017 (cement only available on the Pros at that time), I'd of likely done it. And told him if he saw one in person, he'd be hooked. He finally did...and was.

He's glad he listened. He couldn't be more pleased with the color and truck.

Now I sit here a couple whiskeys in, and wondering how much this is gonna cost me come birthdays and christmas! But...on the flip side, makes future gift ideas way too easy for the next 5 years minimum!

Little bastard is already like "hey, love your BD S2 mirror ditch lights...can you make a couple up for me?" Uhm, yeah, fugoff!

    Smart kid!

I'm a 2nd generation Toyota owner as well, and I owned two used Tundra's (2002 and 2003) before I bought my first new truck (2017 Tacoma). Of course, I have moved on to the 2020 now, but that's beside the point.
If you want to save money, don't let him join the forums! Or else this will be you every holiday/birthday:spending:

I thought you were referring to yourself in the third person, made me think of "Bad boy George" immediately. Nice truck.
