Had a very curious tacoma owner checking out my roof rack at the gas station.

Unfortunately, I was on a very important call and could not talk to him about it. Hoping he noticed the subtle logo.

 

I recieved my tracking info. My upTOP Truss Retrax was shipped Friday and is scheduled to be delivered Thursday September 24th.

Thought I would post an update for anyone wondering about the time frame of their shipment.

 

I ordered mine on July 11th, and it is ready as of Friday. They gave me the option to pick it up, so that is what I’m doing. Just FYI

 

Do you happen to have any pictures of the Chop n Dig bracket mounted onto the roof rack with the quickfists? Kinda wanna see how it works. Thanks!

 

Shipping was super quick. My rack was delivered today. I will assemble and mount it Wednesday (RTT will be mounted Friday) with photos to follow.

 

This somehow seems like a stupid question but...
I’m running a softopper on my DCLB OR. I also am looking at the truss system that accommodates the softopper. I have a CVT RTT ( uninstalled as I currently have no rack). So my question is, is the truss system a stand alone that will accommodate the RTT or is the Truss System designed to partner with one of the BED racks? I love the look of the side rails on these racks but the CVT Mt Rainer’s footprint is so large that there would not be room for anything else up there. So looking for a bit of clarity on the truss system. These are I believe the best looking racks out there. Also anyone know if running an up top ROOF rack would work out clearance wise (heights) with the cvt mt St. Helens on the bed truss system. Perhaps this circles back to the truss with BED rack without BED rack question. Hopefully that ramble makes sense. Thanks.

Do we know lead times on the bravo racks now?

 

Website says 6-8 weeks. I just received a shipping notification for a Bravo ordered the first week of Aug so the stated lead time appears accurate.

 

They also got a second CNC up and running, per their IG video, so I would hope the lead time cuts down by a little as well.

 

I ordered a rear bravo rack August 10th. If I end up getting my notice next week I would be thrilled. That would be 7 weeks... not bad. Some were in the 10 week range here recently... Stay tuned and I'll update this thread when mine is ready.

 

Mine was Aug 2 so your odds are pretty good.

Hey @upTOPoverland someone that drove up to MA from Texas was really interested in the roof rack. Unfortunately he had a 2020 F250, so there wasn't a thing for him. Any plans on making one for that truck?

My upTOP TRUSS retrax rack came in last week, a friend and I were able to get it mounted over the weekend. I could not find any specific retrax mounting instruction but we figured it out eventually.

 

Just got the call from @upTOPOverland_Drew - rear rack is ready. 7.5 weeks - not too bad all things considered!
