For those of you with the old version reservoir mounts, make sure the body of your truck isn’t hitting your reservoir like mine was. Started hearing a clunking sound and finally found what it was.

Where the light is shining is where it was hitting on the inner fender.

Yep. Both my res's look like that. I took a mini sledge hammer to the sheet metal to give them a bit more clearance. All is good now.

In the beginning it took me awhile to figure out what that clanking was while going over bumps.

Luckily I was able to adjust them back just enough for it to not hit. I’m sure they’ll eventually slide forward again and I’ll have to do what you did.

My hose is already rubbing up against the coil a bit, so the more I can move the res forward the better.

My driver side is better now that I adjusted both ends of the hose to push outside away from the frame a bit. My passenger side refuses to come loose, so I just had to push it back really hard while tightening down the hose clamps. My hose is rubbing the coil bucket now, but I guess I’d rather than than the body hitting the resie. :notsure:

Ive had multiple issues with my coilovers to include the top hats being installed on the wrong sides and and adjuster screw on one of the resies being loose allowing fluid to leak out. Apparently I was in a batch of builds that were built by a guy that was quickly fired after. So I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I feel like the hoses should be just about 1/2” shorter than they are to fit better.

Hey man, I also bought the same setup; however, I didnt see the red knob in the front coilovers for my setup but there is a red knob in the rear shocks. I see that you dont have a red knob in your front coilovers also. Am I missing something? Like the front doesnt come with a red knob? If so, where do I adjust the compression??

I chose the option on headstrong website. The invoice also says clicker for front coilovers. Did they send me the wrong one?

Does anyone know what the nitrogen psi should be in these shocks. I can't find this documented anywhere for ADS.

Thanks for the feedback. I have heard varying numbers, anywhere from 150 to 200.

I've written to Matt at MCM since I bought them thru him.

If you ordered them with "clickers", they should come with the compression adjusters, "clickers" (the red knob).

Yeah I was sent the wrong ones. But this matter has been resolved. I reached out to Marie and she got me in reach with Tyler from ADS. They are sending me new ones. Kudos to ADS.

Yeah they'll take care of you. Mistakes happen, which is hard to accept sometimes, but I find that what they do to make up for it far outweighs any of those mistakes.

after about 15-20k miles on my ADS shocks...(No crawling, just highway and desert/forest trails)...I can say the 700# 14” coils feel what they should have out of the box. Definitely rebuilding with 650’s for the 14” coil. (Lo-Pro/winch and sliders)

    DIY Fabricobbler.

Same thing happened to my order. Invoice showed I ordered front clickers, box said clickers, but no clickers.

I didn't even notice until I already had the rear swapped and had the drivers side front installed.

Marie and Tyler were quick to get back to me and rectify the issue. I decided to just run the non clickers in the front, and clickers in the rear. I don't see my front suspension load changing like my rear will. If when it's time to rebuild, I may have them add the clickers then. In the mean time, I was quickly reimbursed the difference.

    We all walked away satisfied.

Damn, these shocks are fun to full send over speed bumps, and washboard!
