Been dealing with long time electrical gremlins and finally sorted it. The battery side ring on the battery to chassis ground was torn. There was barely any metal left to complete the circuit and I’m thinking that is what may have led to my improper battery charging issue. Got a new 4ga wire and used it to replace the tiny factory and we are back in business.

While there went ahead and wired in a PolarWire brand jumper cable system. Wires directly in and you plug in the leads to an Anderson type plug and use the clamps on the other end. I won’t be without jumper cables now and I have removed the fear of someone who doesn’t understand electricity fouling up the mix by trying to help me and getting it wrong. Clamp to their car, connect the Anderson plugs and we’re off.

The ironic thing is, I have next week of vacation. Guess I'll practice my social distancing.

Lot of international calls these past few weeks keeping up with loved ones abroad. Family says that nearby Arnhem Land is closed to all white Australians and tribe members are avoiding all outside contacts entirely. Chinese are still clearing out shelves in markets to export to China as no official limits have been put in place. The wet season will start soon for some territories and just like here, there’s heaps of confusion, misinformation, and frustration.

Throughout it all I still see the strength of the people and the desire to get back together to make an amazing nation even greater. Feeling a bit of nostalgia today so here’s a little something to stir your morning cuppa to.

When @mcharfauros says he’s going to hook you up with some awesome flavors he means it! Trying to hide all of this from my family till I at least get to try a bit of everything myself.

G.T. I hope you are well. I was catching up in your thread. Did the wheel studs shear back in December? I'll keep reading... Thx.

Glad to see you mate. Yes, right in the beginning of December here. New hub and brake rotors and she’s right again.

Ive been thinking of a similar system after seeing a AAA truck with that setup. I decided one of those jump packs worked way better and were even more stupid proof.

I went with a very high quality (read: not inexpensive) prebuilt setup but I’ve used it about half a dozen times to help boost other cars and it’s convenient.

First wheeling/camping trip since March. Laid up behind the dialysis clinic ready to roll as soon as I’m done. Heading to the Ozark National Forest near Ozark, Arkansas.

    Farewell cabin fever.

Have fun, and let me know if it's anything like they portray it in the TV show "The Ozarks". Other than the money laundering and cartel violence that is.
