Does anyone know the 2020 production numbers compared to other years? With some / most dealers having limited to no Tacoma stock, I wonder what the numbers really are with the shutdown.

No clue. But ill give it a guess for free mods. Price is right rules apply.

    Up to 2019 here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Tacoma

My best guess is 250,000 divided by 12 = ~21,000 a month. example: September 2019 - March 2020? Only 6 months of production. So 126,000 for 2020 model year?

Not sure when production stopped, but this will be close. Just adjust math if you know better.

Perhaps they ran at lower capacity for x# of months too.

My final answer is ~ 150,000

    2019 stats for fun
    248,810 /year
    20,734 / month
    4,785 / week
    682 / day
    28 / hour
    1 / 2 minutes & 7 seconds

Entertaining but you don't have to guess.
Through August it's 142K and change. Here it is by month Jan thru August. Strong google-fu with comparison by month to previous years.

Looks like they are 23K light this year compared to 2019.

Well the plant was shut down for 3 months so they would be off last years numbers by at least that much.

I dont think all 3 plants were closed that long, thought it was just a few weeks along the way.

Not sure about Mexico, but the Texas plant was closed almost 3 months....that alone wot probably account for that many lost units.

All you have to do is look at the units sold. They sell every one they build.
Even though the plant was closed, dealers were selling units already built. The graphic I attached was units sold by month, not produced by month. So around 23k less, which equates to around one month production.
