Found it on some internet search. From my browser history, it looks like https://www.couponbirds.com/codes/batteriesplus.com, and the coupon is marked as good till 10/1/2020 there. Not sure how much I really trust the data on those kinds of sites, but I still try some of the codes for the rare times (like this) where they work.

Thanks! Been wanting to pull the trigger on one of these for awhile but don’t quite have the finances in order at the moment so a week or 2 would make a big difference. (thanks covid lay-off)

You guys try the GM diode yet? Love the idea of saving $70 and the modification is plenty easy.

But I’ve Been digging and can’t find any info, is it just a diode or is it fused as well? While i understand it’s just a sensing wire I don’t love the idea of replacing a fuse with just a diode without any kind of over current protection.

With how cheap they are I’m kinda tempted to buy 2 and apply ~7-10 amps to one and see if it pops.

    EDIT:
Found this thread and answered my question. Someone already did the current test. It melted connected to a headlight bulb at ~5A so it Looks like it’s just a diode.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...r-voltage-booster.611314/page-3#post-22490066

Also realized the mini blade HKB is interchangeable with the micro blade so prolly just gonna go that route and save $20 AUD. I just feel better keeping the connection fused.

Great information on the discount code as well as the Rakuten suggestion. I'd never used their website before, so I also got the Rakuten $10 first time user bonus. 20% discount and $20 rebate from Batteries+, along with 9% cash back and $10 welcome bonus from Rakuten saved me over $100.

Good tip on Rakuten. Didn’t know about the sign up bonus, that makes it about an extra $20 off. Just pulled the trigger.

My voltage booster showed up over the weekend so I went to install today only to realize they gave me a 27 instead of a 27f. They must’ve grabbed the wrong one when I picked it up, receipt and order say 27f. Gotta take it back and get it exchanged for the correct one.

24F is what came in our trucks. If you’re just looking for an “OEM” battery then a dealership Toyota true start is what you want. But Walmart or any auto parts store should have a 24f to suit your needs. Make sure to get a 24 F and not just a 24 as the terminals will be in the wrong location if you get just a regular 24. A lot of guys on here like the Costco batteries. The X2 (Northstar) is an AGM . It requires a higher charge rate than our alternators can supply..many myself included, buy a charger and plug em up every so often to keep em topped off. Or if you run the OV TUNE there’s a feature that lets you change the ECU to increase charging voltage. Most get these type battery because they are running accessories like winches, fridges, light bars, etc. and it’s designed to have more reserve power and be drained and charged over and over. Hope this helps

Except the costco 27f are not sold any more.
No agm's, too expensive and I don't like doing mods to the
    charging system.
