Does this seem like a good deal or over priced?

If I was looking at a 3rd gen I would save 5-7 more thousand and buy it brand new.

I don't know the ID car market very well but that 2012 definitely looks a little high priced for the mileage. Not grossly overpriced, but more miles than I would be comfortable with at that price point.

Yeah yeah they last forever but that steering wheel is definitely showing signs of wear.

    the good ones
Mileage seems high for the price but maybe that's just how the used market for Tacomas is now.

If you're looking at that kind of mileage, you could find a first or second gen truck for a lot cheaper. I'd either do that or just hold out until you can afford a brand new or more gently used one.

I'm sure you already know this if you've been looking for a while but in general, it doesn't pay to make a quick decision buying used cars--you shouldn't feel like these 2 are your only options just because they're what's available right now. If you don't need the new ride right away, spend a few months paying attention to dealers and private party sales within a few hours with you. Something will come along.

Probably not bad deals, but I'd be very hesitant to drop that kind of cash on something with well over 100k miles.

My question is if the TRD trim is important to you. If not, my local dealer has 2020 and 2021 SR5s at like $31.5k brand new (includes rebate). Unless you really want a TRD trim this is what I would go for.
