I think I learned my lesson about being vague on here. I've been looking at for starters getting a grille guard. I've been eyeballing a westin hdx, does anyone have one? If so what are your thoughts on it? I'm open to other ideas as well.

In b4 "why would you want to install a crash multiplier?!"

I dig the Westin. I had the Aries Pro Series on my 2017. The pro series accepts a 30" light bar if you're into that sort of thing.

I have a gage front bumper on my f350. I took off a grill guard that came on the truck because it wasn't mounted very solidly. Do what you want with your truck but I wouldn't put a grill guard on mine.

I'd like to get a lightbar before deer season begins. To get to my camp is dark and narrow. Most of the reason for the guard. Alot of the trail to get there is narrow with limbs and such everywhere.

Somebody makes a light bar mount that works with your stock bumper.

You might get better results with the words “Grille Guard” in your thread title...

It’s a learning process for sure.

It is easy to modify the thread title- there should be an option for you above your first post here- “grille guard” in the thread title might attract some members who will show up just to disparage grille guards without adding anything useful- just go with it and don’t take it personally.

    And welcome to Tacomaworld.
