    Yes.

Monitor PID status of the shift status for current gear. PID accelerator position for accelerator position.

Lots of good stuff you can monitor in real time.

    My dashboard looks like this:

Any chance you could share a link to a reliable bluetooth adapter?

Awesome! I'll give this a go. The phone app thing looks sweet though. Looks more newbie friendly.

Yessir. You're mainly looking for an ELM327 clone.

@Mooseditty17 has TS installed and flashed 04B04. So, that may be a good route for him?

It's pretty cool, but like vlady said earlier, there is a delay so you aren't getting instant information. For that you would need techstream.

OBD speeds are ancient to start with. You're losing nothing with wireless.

I have the carista bluetooth with obd fusion. You will also want to buy the Toyota PID pack.

Maybe mine is just slow. With techstream hooked up, it is way faster.

@lapoltba go step by step instructions are exactly what I needed to use techstream to log. I may end up trying some of those Bluetooth deals too. Anything's better than holding up a finger trying to remember what gear I'm in. Greatly appreciate the help gentlemen!

I like TS. It's clunky, but it logs pretty fast and works well. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but follow the pictures in that one post and you can get it set up pretty easily. There are tons of PIDs to choose from. My suggestion is to create a custom list for just the things you are interested in pertaining to shift tuning. Have another specifically for throttle tuning... etc.

I suppose the question is how fast do you need to see things when driving? Esp gear or TC state.

Driving, not too fast. I think with him trying to dial in shift points etc, he may want more speed. For daily driving though, it's perfect. There's times on mine I've already passed the next gear before it changes. Lol

THX has a noticeable (to me) increase in throttle response but not at initial pedal depress (tip-in). I'd be willing to share my current version of 04B04 in your are interested, just message me. I would just revert my AGM battery setup unless you have that type. This has been my best tune ever to date.

I have literally been printing off screenshots of my shift points and taking notes with a pen while I drive.... I am ready for the next level.

Has anyone else had the shifting points change substantially after updating to Mat's new airload control map? My 5-6 use to occur around 50 or so on light throttle. After updating map at the lightest throttle I can't hit 6th till about 70. no other changes made

I bought the one from obd fusion. It is way more expensive than what you will find on Amazon. I loathe amazon because I have been burned by cheap knockoff crap too many times. I don’t have any problems with lag using the adapter from them that others have reported. It comes with a free app called obdlink, which may or may not be faster or have more features than the pay app obd fusion.

As the saying goes you get what you pay for. Most of the time.

TS has a cool feature where you can press a button (or use a hotkey I think) to mark the log instantly at a point of interest. When you go back later to review it makes it much easier to identify where you want to focus.
