What do y’all think? Keep or send back?

Jeremy thinks I should send them back because most aftermarket headlights don’t put off as much light as OEM; However, after seeing them in person I kinda like them (Well, one of them; I only opened the left one because I’m not sure I’m going to keep them)...

 

They actually look pretty good! I think I’m gonna keep ‘em!

Send them back. You’ll want the light output come winter time.

So, my nearly 6-year old battery literally died for good; The higher-powered headlights were the metaphorical straw that broke the camel’s back...

I discovered that the battery was shot when I attempted to start the truck, to drive it over to my neighbor’s house to show him the new headlights; The engine wouldn’t even turn over!

My mom was busy working on an article (she’s a freelance writer), and I couldn’t find my jumper cables; My neighbor came to the rescue with a pair of jumper cables and attempted to jump my truck with his 2019 Ford Explorer. The truck still would not start...

I finally relented and called AAA; They had someone out within an hour, and while he was able to get my truck started with the help of Booster Pack, readings showed that my battery was completely shot...

I bought a new battery from AAA for $161ish (including tax), and he was able to install it with the truck running!

 

New battery install, including the engine running with no battery in place!

 

Well that really sucks, batteries can die anytime without warning. I keep one of those little booster packs in the truck, jumped 3 different vehicles with it. I guess your truck takes a 24F Battery, 2nd Gens with tow package got the bigger 27F.

 

I tend to change my batteries out every 3-4 years regardless.

 

They actually work better than the stock headlights!
