Just purchased a brand new 2021 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4X4. It comes equipped with a 4 and 7 pin connectors for trailer lights . Ask the dealer where the wiring for the electric brakes was in the cab to hook up the brake controller. All I got was "I'll find out for you" and they'd disappear. But the truck was too pretty to walk away. Can anybody tell me where the wiring is?

If its anything like the 2nd gens, there will be a little pigtail harness vacuum wrapped in the glove box. It plugs in to a plug that may or may not be taped over on the wiring harness behind the dash where the top of the kickpanel is. Check the manual, it should spell it out there as well.

Even when I knew where it was, the electrical tape covering mine was a PITA to find and then get cut very carefully to plug into.
