You should get whatever you want to get and not make your decision based on a bunch of opinions of internet strangers.

Did you ever check under the weather seal? I'm curious to know if someone used the mounting points.

I think the first thing you need to do, since you directly asked me, is to assess all the damage that was done.

I know that it won’t be a “fun” job to do. But, knowing exactly what you are dealing with will help guide your decisions from that point on. And regardless of the choice made on a fin replacement, you will still need the actual antenna assembly.

It appears you are missing something that looks like this:

Sucks, OP. As soon as you get it all worked out, you need to stream this on repeat on your Spotify.

Use a garden hose and check for a water leak when you finished installing the new antenna. The roof must be flat for the seal under the antenna to work properly. You’ll be sorry if you skip this step. A slow water leak will ruined any car with mildew and odor. And caulking is a horrible horrible idea.

Did you buy the truck at a Toyota dealership ? If yes I would see if they would pay for the labor and you pay for the parts to fix roof and fin .
