Just curious to talk to some folks with a little more experience under their belt.

I've been doing it for a year now. I went to line school and shortly after got on with a contractor in Georgia, but just cant seem to get anywhere with my current employer. I worked on a weekend trouble crew for about 10 months and just switched over to a pole change out crew to try and get into a bucket more. I'm pretty smart, catch on quick, and volunteer for all the shitty climb jobs to get the experience. Been told by a few guys i worked with on storm recently that i've got the abilities of class B, but my company keeps passing me up.

I've worked my way up quickly in every career I've had since i was 19, a real go-getter if you will. Looking for any advice i can get, recommendations, anything really. Thanks

    That’s why I’m here
Same here. My advice apply to every JATC apprenticeship you can and take the first one you can get into.
