    Hello everyone!

I am reaching out after looking through TW for the right answer and currently deciding between suspension lifts for my 2016 SR 4x4. So far, I've tentatively agreed to do EK16 - Toytec/Eibach 2″ Lift Kit.

    The questions I had were:

    * When it comes to rear blocks, should I opt for the 1" or 1.5" block? The only thing in the rear that will be fixed on will be a LEER XR, and occasionally the dog (90lbs)

    * The lift I will be buying seems to not come with any type of AAL. Wondering if anyone if this type of lift or similar could answer if I'm able to put some in later on in the future?

    * Typically on the FJs, once you do any type of lift, you have to add some UCAs. Wondering if the same goes for the Tacomas? I'm not trying to reach anymore than what a leveling kit could give me (2" - 2.5" overall)

    Like, so many.
You can get an Icon or Head Strong Offroad progressive AAL that'll do about 1.5 inches.

The first choice was OME for me. Unfortunately, I'd like to not break the bank on a lift since I'm in the middle of transitioning out of my job into a new one.

I think the Head Strong one is under $200.

Would UCA have to be necessary if installing the lift?

Also, what is the difference between 1" or 1.5" block if all I have in the back is a bed shell?
