Ok - I’m fairly new here and I know I’m probably asking a question that gets asked all the time - so I’m apologizing in advance. I have a new TRD 2020 off road that I’m looking to do a suspension lift (3”) new wheel and probably 33’s for tires. Would consider 35’s but heard it tough to fit in with no rubbing and with having to do a lot of chopping.

I’ve looked online and have read so many damn articles and watched so many clips and I can’t narrow down the suspension kit I should be using. I know this is a loaded question - but if I’m doing mostly Highway/city driving with some off roading here and there - I need a good suspension that provides a nice ride for the road but can also perform off roading. From what I’ve been reading - it sounds like Kings may be a good option. Would others agree?
    Thx so much!

Probably don’t need Kings. 33s are gonna rub too. I’m sure some 3rd gen guys will chime in.

Budget? Do you plan on keeping the 16" oem rims?

No - will be getting new rims as well. Yeah - I’m sure I’m going to have to do a little chopping ginger the 33s in without rubbing.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
2nd gen guy here but I’ve Ben around several setups and manufacturers. Put Dobinsons on my 2nd gen when I got it. Best setup I’ve ridden on. Close to stock ride in a lifted truck. I’m running stock rear with a block. I do a lot of highway. Best riding vehicle at my house. My son ditched his failing OME setup and went Dobinsons as well on a T4R. Night and day difference. Just $.02.

I recently put an Elka 3" lift kit with SPC adjustable UCA's. I currently have 32" tires on the stock rims but have plans to upgrade to 33" in the near future. I chose the SPC UCA's because of the adjustability of the ball joint. From what I understand, you can shift the tire forward in the fender well and a 33" tire will fit, no cutting no rubbing. I read that other places in the forums.
