    Not for me but it’s your truck. I have some sliders with line-x on them. I like product don’t like the dirt that it holds.

    If I still had my black 2016 SR5 it would of been Line-X'ed. Be nice just to drive thru the car wash and hose it off then drive off. Be nice to park close to the front door at Walmart too.

    I drive a Miata.
    The major downside is that if ever in the future you have to respray a panel, it's damn near impossible to get an unnoticeable color match like you can with paint.

    But unless the car wash has DI water (some do) you'll just end up with water spots etching into the Line-X since it's black it will practically flash the water dry in the summer months in the sun.

    Doesn’t seem to work that way on my sliders. They are line-x with the uv protection. Seems to hold dirt like a mofo.

    Lets put it this way. If I lived out in the country and traveled dirt and gravel roads. I would have my truck Line-X'ed and would not bother trying to keep it clean like I do my asphalt queen.
