HOOKE FRONT BUMPER

I just purchased a ‘’Hooke’’ brand front bumper from AMAZON . I just got done with bolting it together and will keep everyone informed how the installation went . Probably put it on the end of October 2020 when I’m back from Arizona.

You said you just got done putting it together but will install at the end of October. Does that mean it comes in multiple pieces and needs assembly?

Exactly like that ! It’s so heavy assembled ! All the parts arrived in two boxes complete. Nothing missing . I’m waiting to put it on the Tacoma because I’m helping a buddy move his stuff up from Yuma . I’m leaving Friday . I’m in no hurry to put the bumper on . I’m retired . I live in a 55+
Moble park . Anther friend is going to help me install it in his shop .
The bumper looks great on your truck ! My 05 taco is glossy black . Any hints I should know about ? You happy with the bumper ?

 

Mine i had to plasma cut somes things to make it fit 100% good, also where the 2 sides bolts on the middle part, you can put washers to make it leveled with your truck so its fits all good

 

Thanks Simon . I added stainless steel washers were it wasn’t provided and probably technically wrong . But I feel good about it.

 

I cringed when I looked at the wrap around part on other bumper brands . Your installation looks perfect.

 

Yeah it wasnt plug and play as it should ve been but i got there haha
