I'm shopping and have the choice of either, are there any changes that I'm not seeing?

Nothing substantial or worth paying the premium for. If you can buy a 20 for a good price, I'd recommend that.

A dealer's first offer to me for the 2020 I want is pretty much base price of a off-road, saving me about $2,400. $36,900 I think I can get him lower due to it being a 2020 and the fact that I bought another 2020 from them 6 months ago. But they do have to get it from a dealership 600 mi away

What happened to the 2020 you bought six month ago?

I wonder if COVID affected the quality of the 21’s? Meaning did they have to use “what they could get” from the supply chain and maybe cut corners? Would it be better to go with a 20 instead for that reason or would it even matter? I guess the 20’s and 21’s are made in Mexico?

I wouldn’t worry too much about any quality differences between year models or factories. With low inventory, I would be more concerned with being able to find what I wanted for a reasonable price.

I have a 20' made in Texas so not all were made in Mexico. In any case, I think you're right. Probably no real difference in quality between the two.

Well a semi decided he liked my truck and decided to get a closer look, ended up putting $29,000 of damage in the truck so it got totaled out.

I think there's only one quality issue with my truck that I found in the 6 months, My driver side door panel I think wasn't fitted on correctly or there is a defect in it and it would squeak based on how big a bounce was but it's so little I never minded

My 20 was made in Mexico and the 20's and 21's they are showing me are all from mexico.

I have seen some 2021's from Texas so they still haven't stopped making them yet.
