10/1/20 - Washed & dried Tacoma yesterday and was going to lay a coat of wax on her but the farmer decided to shell corn.

    Gave her a bath.
Also got together with my wrap buddy yesterday and he's gonna wrap the bottom part of the tailgate. Trying to decide if I want to add white letter inserts.

Would you need to add white letters? Or just gently cut around the letters so the white comes through? Either way, I think white letters would looks good with the lower wrap

I have this done and my wrap guy did a solid black with color matched inserts. I think color matching the letters is the way to go. It's a good contrast.

Well, the shifting is definitely "faster" but it helps with the heavier wheels/tires.

Gas mileage is definitely more impacted by the weight and lack of aerodynamics I have. Under 65 it's great (I also just got it tuned) around 17. Over 70 it drops off -- I'm at about 14.5 this last tank.

I'm also running a big heavy expo truck -- steel high-clearance front and rear, RTT, rack, dual batteries, etc. Lots of added weight that somewhat necessitated the higher gearing.

In terms of offroad performance, I like it. I never felt like I was out of power/gear with the stock 3.91s in low range, but I basically just point and go with the 5.29s and low range.

Cutting by hand would look ghetto. He can cut the letters out on his cutter but then alignment would be a b*tch. Easier to just go with white letter inserts.

well put. Highway robbery even. I bought a fake garnish online and tried it for thousands of miles. My TSS never worked the entire time so I went back to no garnish and it works fine. Just makes my truck look like a 2016/17

its by off grid engineering. Mainly went with them because they had setup with the redarc bcdc. I will say that the finish on the battery tray left alot to be desired. Wished they would have at least done some rough/finishing passes on the tray and a better job on deburring edges. They also forgot to send me some cable so i went out and bought a couple rolls of 8 awg wire. other than that its alright
