    Hey guys,
    Just wanted to check in and say Hi!
    I used to be active... maybe a dozen years ago... on a Forum called TX-TTORA, but tried to log back o there and found out they pretty much went dead!

    Anyway, last July, I had my old Tacoma towed off to get a new motor after it's been sitting on my driveway for almost 6 years! Got a new motor put in, and so excited having my girl back just a few short days ago! Still needs a little more TLC, but basically she's back and I can't stop thinking about her! Lol

    Something to do with the wife...:facepalm:

    Well, here's the story first: The radiator had a leak, but I had to go on a business trip to Arizona. I expressly told her if she needed to drive it, only go local because it'll overheat. 10pm, I get a call from my wife that something's wrong with the truck. She said it was "surging" and not running right. She was 12-15 miles away from home. :annoyed:I asked her to pull over immediately, but she was scared... and it was dark outside. Need I explain more? :rofl: Yeah, she drove home, but surprisingly she made it all the way back... while in the red! She said she barely made it onto the driveway. Lol

    Anyway, why 6 years? All quotes I was getting were around $5-6k for a replacement motor. Too much to spend for what had become my secondary/toy truck, until one of my workers told me about his mechanic who could replace it for $1,200.00 total. Done deal!
